I was commissioned to create this oil painting as a nod to Auburn University's mascot, Aubie. War Eagle!
The style of this painting is Impasto. In this technique, the paint is applied on the canvas in such thick layers, that the strokes of the brush or the palette knife can be seen easily. Many times, the paint is mixed right on the canvas itself.
